Jr Neymar posted an inspirational message on social media after it was confirmed he will return to his homeland to have an operation who could be out for around six weeks after suffering a cracked metatarsal and twisted ankle in his side's 3-0 win over Marseille in Ligue 1 on Sunday.
The 26-year-old has vowed he will not "give up" and will find a way to overcome his latest setback after Paris Saint-Germain confirmed he will undergo an operation on a fractured toe.
PSG said on Wednesday that Neymar will return to Brazil to have surgery, and the 26-year-old followed it up with an inspirational post on Instagram.
Neymar Jr. the former Barcelona star posting a picture of himself lying on the field captioned with a quote showing he is determined to overcome the injury.
"Obstacles can't hold you down. If there's a wall in your way, don't give up. Find out how to climb it," the message said.
The injury rules the star out of the second leg of PSG's Champions League clash with Real Madrid at Parc des Princes on March 6, with the Ligue 1 leaders looking to overcome the 3-1 deficit from the first encounter.
Neymar has suffered injury heartbreak before, most notably when he suffered a spine injury during the 2014 World Cup, ending his tournament at the quarter-final stage.
