Arsenal manager WENGER is ready to be unleashed in Sunday's Carabao Cup against Manchester City after the striker used his two weeks away to significantly boost his physicality.
Arsenal's £56million signing Aubameyang has been unavailable for selection because of being cup-tied in the Europa League and last appeared for the Gunners more than a fortnight ago.
Yet Aubameyang is now set to play against Pep Guardiola's Man City and Arsene Wenger was asked whether his Aubameyang was itching to get back on the pitch.
Wenger said 'He has only played twice but on the other hand when he came here he had not played for a while'.
'Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang was not at his best physically and we took advantage of the last two weeks to build him up physically. I think he will be much sharper than he was.
'You could see day after day that he is much sharper than he was two or three weeks ago.'
