Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly interested in signing the Brazilian forward.

According to Brazilian media outlet Goal Brazil, the Gunners have joined Spurs in the race to sign Bordeaux star Malcom.

The 20-year-old forward is a hot commodity, having impressed for the French side this season, with some of the continent's most elite clubs thought to be monitoring his progress.

He has scored seven goals and registered four assists in 18 league outings this season.

Tottenham are definitely in need of someone with Malcom's attributes, whilst it is debatable whether Arsenal need another tricky forward.

That has not prevented Goal Brazil from claiming that Arsene Wenger is keen on bringing the Brazilian to the Emirates, however.

They claim that whilst Spurs have already had a £31 million bid rejected by Bordeaux for the fleet-footed forward, the Gunners approached the French side just before Christmas to enquire about his potential availability.
Goal Brazil claim that the Ligue 1 outfit would accept a bid in the region of £44 million for their prized asset.

With the opening of the January transfer window just two days away, this will certainly be one for Tottenham and Arsenal fans to keep a very close eye on.
