Adrien Rabiot reaches agreement with Barcelona over summer move

Barcelona complete Bosman deal for Rabiot
Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Adrien Rabiot’s free transfer to Barcelona in the summer has been completed according to reports on Friday evening.
The future of Rabiot has been in the headlines for quite a while now.

The Frenchman is one of the most talented youngsters in football right now but his future has been in question over recent months.

His deal will expire in June and the player has refused to sign a new deal as Barcelona looked to sign the player.
There was even talk that an agreement had been reached between the Camp Nou club and Rabiot last month.

However, that would have been an illegal approach as you can only agree a pre-agreement contract from January.

Those reports lead to a statement from Barcelona, denying ‘the existence of any type of agreement with PSG player Adrien Rabiot.’

Now, Rabiot’s future is a lot clearer after reports on Friday revealed he has practically signed for Barcelona.

Agreement reached between player and club
According to the Guardian, an agreement has been reached between the player and Barcelona over a summer move.

He will reportedly receive a huge £9million signing on fee when he joins the club.

Not only that, he will also be earning £170,000 a week on a five-year contract.

Safe to say, that isn’t too bad for a 23-year-old.

Following a difficult year at Paris Saint-Germain Rabiot will be looking to relaunch his career at the Camp Nou.

Should he reach his full potential, it could be a shrewd piece of business from Barcelona.
