Jamie Vardy and Mohamed Salah set incredible records against Liverpool v Leicester game this afternoon

From non-league to Premier League winner, the striker has really done it all.
And this afternoon the Leicester striker managed set himself an impressive record when he struck in the third minute to give his side the lead against Liverpool at Anfield.
Vardy became the first Foxes player to score in five successive matches against the Reds and has scored seven goals in his last eight appearances against the Merseyside club.

However, despite setting the record, Vardy and co were unable to get anything out of the game as two goals from Mohamed Salah saw Jurgen Klopp's side win 2-1.

And in the process Liverpool's £36million summer signing equalled a long-standing club record for goals before the turn of the year.

Salah's brace means he equalled Roger Hunt's record of 23 goals which was set in the 1961-62 season.

The Egyptian, who has made an immediate impact for his new club has scored 17 times in the league so far.
