Dele Alli is demanding for the sum of £160,000 per week to stay at Tottenham, and which would make him the highest earner at the club.
The England international star has been emerged as one of the best young talents in European football as a second striker behind Harry Kane.
Alli who is earning just £50,000 per week and despite having four years to run on that deal, the 21-year-old is pushing the club to pay him the market rate.
Daniel Levy is already under pressure to pay his players more after initially running a tight operation, but after Kyle Walker bolted to more than double his wages at Man City, others could follow.
