Sergio Agüero and Fabian Delph could be back in action for Manchester City as soon the next league game against Stoke.
Agüero was involved in a car accident last week, breaking a rib, but despite Argentina team doctor Donato Villani suggesting the striker would miss a minimum of six weeks, Kun is said to be out of discomfort and working towards a full return.
Delph, who it is reported today is in line for a new contract at City, was forced to withdraw from international duty with England due to a hamstring injury, and he too could make a speedy return for next Saturday’s fixture.
However, given Fabian’s history of picking up similar injuries, the club are wary of rushing him back too quickly and like Agüero, it is touch-and-go as to whether he’ll be ready for City’s next home game.
If Delph does miss out against the Potters, and with Benjamin Mendy a long-term absentee, Danilo will almost certainly start at left-back.
