Real Madrid on Friday officially announce the signing of Spain Under-21 international, Dani Ceballos from Real Betis for a fee in the area of 16.5 million euros.
Ceballos is Madrid's second signing of the summer following on the arrival of Theo Hernandez from Atletico, although the club has also added Jesus Vallejo, Marcos Llorente and Borja Mayoral to their squad as they return from loan deals this summer. And the 20-year-old Ceballos was recently named as the best player in the European Under-21 Championships as Spain reached the final before losing to Germany and he will add yet more depth to a Madrid squad, which looks to have options in nearly every part of the pitch.
