The french league LYON told arsenal to at least pay £57m to sign Alexandre Lacazette(Lyon)
The same story says that Arsenal were “hopeful” of pushing through a deal for the striker in a £44m deal but the French club are now said to be holding out for a figure closer to £57m.
A. Lacazette was widely expected to join Atletico Madrid this summer before the Spanish club’s transfer ban prevented that move.
Right now, it remains to be seen whether Arsenal will be willing to match Lyon’s asking price as Arsene Wenger looks to bolster his attacking options at The Emirates ahead of next season.
